The 2013 Conference for North Carolina's Nonprofit Sector, Nonprofits Making the Difference, was held on September 19-20, in Concord, North Carolina. Robinson Bradshaw's Dianne Chipps Bailey co-presented the 2013 Legal Update: Better Safe than Sorry session with David Heinen, Director of Public Policy and Advocacy for the NC Center for Nonprofits, and Dennis Walsh, CPA, Vice President and Treasurer of The Micah Project.

This premier statewide event for North Carolina’s nonprofit sector draws 700-900 nonprofit decision makers from across the state, as well as foundation trustees and staff, corporate giving officers, and consultants and vendors who work with nonprofits. Conference participants interacted with national, cutting-edge speakers, had access to high-quality information, and made important connections with peers, grantmakers, and others.
