Robinson Bradshaw attorney Brandon M. Lofton will deliver the 2016 commencement address at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s political science department graduation. Lofton, a Phi Beta Kappa at UNC, earned his bachelor’s degree with highest honors in 2001. He also received the Walter S. Spearman Award, given to an outstanding man in each graduating class. Lofton went on to earn his law degree from New York University in 2004 as a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar and a Dean’s Scholar. At Robinson Bradshaw, he focuses on public finance, and he regularly serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, borrower’s counsel and bank counsel for tax-exempt and taxable financings.
