Five Attorneys Join Robinson Bradshaw

Robinson Bradshaw welcomes five associate attorneys to the firm:

Kevin R. Crandall earned his law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was a winner of the Ames Moot Court Competition. He also received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in economics from Clemson University.

Bernard C. Funk earned his law degree at Yale Law School, where he served as articles editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation. He received a master’s degree in religious studies from Yale University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and a bachelor’s degree with distinction and departmental honors in philosophy and religious studies from Stanford University. At Stanford, Funk received the J.E. Wallace Sterling Award for Scholastic Achievement, given to the top 25 graduating seniors in the School of Humanities and Sciences.

Alexis M. Iffert earned her law degree magna cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was a member of Order of the Coif and an editorial staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review. Prior to law school, Iffert worked in student affairs in higher education for eight years. She received her Master of Education in student personnel in higher education from the University of Florida and graduated cum laude from Millikin University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Jonathan D. LeCompte earned his law degree magna cum laude and as Order of the Coif from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was managing editor of the South Carolina Law Review. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to attending law school, LeCompte served as a detective in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Gang Enforcement Unit-Special Investigations Bureau.

Sandra K. Wilburn is a corporate attorney serving clients in the health care, life sciences and technology industries. She has experience with mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity finance, securities issues and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Robinson Bradshaw, Wilburn was an associate at K&L Gates. She earned her law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University.
