Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to announce that Thomas P. Holderness was recognized for his pro bono efforts at the Mecklenburg County Bar’s 95th annual meeting and BBQ.

Holderness is the recipient of the Legal Services of Southern Piedmont (LSSP) 2007 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award. As noted in LSSP’s nomination,

"Tommy Holderness has volunteered with Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont since 1999. Over the years, he has helped over a dozen people with consumer, domestic violence and tax cases. His primary focus has been the Low Income Tax Clinic. He was one of the first attorneys to volunteer to assist tax clients, just months after the program began operations in 2002. Since then he has diligently assisted taxpayers in resolving their tax controversies, primarily through tax court litigation."

Holderness’ practice focuses on fiduciary litigation regarding claims of money mismanagement, trusts, estates and shareholder rights.
