Kader Crawford is a transactional attorney whose primary focus includes fund formation and private investment transactions, alternative investments, joint ventures and various lending transactions. He works extensively with private equity sponsors with respect to their formation and capital-raising activities, and institutional and fund of funds investors in making alternative investments of all types. Kader's transactional practice includes representing banks and borrowers in a variety of investment-grade financings and secured and unsecured subordinated loans.
Prior to joining the firm, Kader worked as a tax accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a regular contributor to the Triangle Funds blog.
Represents private equity sponsor in raising over $100 million of capital commitments for multiple funds.
Represents private equity sponsor in various internal governance matters, including partner admissions and exits.
Represents various institutional investors in over $1 billion of investments in alternative investment funds.
Represents national health care corporation in the negotiation and development of joint venture operations with other hospitals and physician partners.
Represents the lead agent and arranger of over $1 billion of senior credit facilities for various investment manager borrowers, including registered investment advisers and insurance companies.
