Kader Crawford practices in the areas of investment management, commercial finance, and general corporate and commercial law.
Kader's investment management practice includes representing private equity sponsors with respect to their formation and capital-raising activities and representing institutional and fund of funds investors in making investments in private equity, venture capital, hedge and other investment funds. In the area of commercial finance, he represents senior lenders in a variety of cash-flow and asset-based financing transactions.
Kader's general corporate and commercial law practice covers a range of commercial transactions, with a focus on health care transactions, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises clients with respect to a variety of other corporate and commercial matters, including organizational and governance matters, operating agreements, capital structures and commercial contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Kader worked as a tax accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Represents private equity sponsor in raising over $100 million of capital commitments for multiple funds.
Represents private equity sponsor in various internal governance matters, including partner admissions and exits.
Represents various institutional investors in over $1 billion of investments in alternative investment funds.
Represents national health care corporation in the negotiation and development of joint venture operations with other hospitals and physician partners.
Represents the lead agent and arranger of over $1 billion of senior credit facilities for various investment manager borrowers, including registered investment advisers and insurance companies.
