Robinson Bradshaw Hires Chief Operating OfficerPDF
Robinson Bradshaw hired Dana Ellis as the firm's first chief operating officer. He will oversee all business and operations-related functions, including finance and accounting, human resources, information technology, library services and facilities.
"I am excited to join Robinson Bradshaw with its strong group of lawyers, outstanding reputation, unique culture and sound business practices," Ellis said. "I look forward to being a part of the firm’s continued success."
Ellis previously served as COO with law firms in Los Angeles, Cleveland and Indianapolis. Prior to his career in law firm management, he was a certified public accountant working with small businesses and publicly held companies. As a partner with Arthur Andersen, Ellis held a number of leadership roles in administration, human resources and recruiting. He is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and the national Large Firm Administrators Caucus.
Ellis succeeds Alan K. Menius, who retired after serving as Robinson Bradshaw's executive director for more than 30 years.
