Robinson Bradshaw Advises Levine Museum of the New South in Relocation Transaction
Robinson Bradshaw represented Levine Museum of the New South pro bono in the real estate and financing aspects of its recent acquisition of a new campus. The museum acquired a 0.57-acre property at a major intersection in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood with two buildings totaling approximately 10,000 square feet. Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Will Packard and Caleb Strawn advised the museum on various site selection matters; handled the purchase and sale agreement and the title and survey review; and negotiated the term sheet and loan documents for the financing of the acquisition.
Founded in 1990, Levine Museum has engaged more than 1.7 million people through award-winning exhibitions, digital storytelling and innovative civic programming surrounding the Southern region’s diverse history. Robinson Bradshaw and its individual attorneys have been supporters of and leaders within the museum since its inception, including through board service and chairmanship, as well as pro bono legal work.
