Jazzmin Romero represents clients in complex civil disputes. Employment litigation is a core part of her practice. Jazzmin regularly represents clients in employment disputes, including against claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge and violations of federal and state wage and hour laws. Her experience includes advising clients on compliance with state and federal employment law, responding to charges of discrimination and defending in litigation.
In addition, Jazzmin maintains a diverse litigation practice. Her experience includes representing clients in matters involving claims ranging from defamation, fraud and breach of contract to personal injury and wrongful death.

- Represented a national retailer in multidistrict litigation involving class and collective actions based on alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the state labor laws of 19 different states.
- Represented a state agency in defense of a wage and hour class action asserting claims for tens of millions of dollars in damages.
- Represented a local television station in an action brought by a former employee alleging religious discrimination under Title VII in federal court and successfully moved to dismiss the action, which was upheld on appeal.
- Represented a national bank in an action brought by a former employee alleging claims of sex and race discrimination under Title VII and constructive discharge.
- Regularly advises clients on compliance with state and federal laws in preparation of employee handbooks and policy documents.

- Represented a national gas station chain against claims of wrongful death and personal injury arising from a shooting.
- Represents a national gas station chain in an action involving claims of negligence and personal injury.
- Represented a large health care system in defense of malpractice claims implicating the standard of care applicable to nurse practitioners.
- Represented a national industrial gas supplier in a lawsuit in Tennessee seeking tens of millions of dollars from a former customer, which settled on favorable terms for the client on the eve of trial.
- Represented a national general contractor in a lawsuit alleging construction defects and seeking millions of dollars in damages.
