The NC Business Court: A Primer for Litigators & Transactional Attorneys

Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Adam Doerr and Desirae Williams led an in-house CLE presentation for a client. This presentation provided an introduction to the North Carolina Business Court, a unique court that specializes in the resolution of complex business disputes. Doerr and Williams covered the benefits of litigating in the Business Court and their expertise in handling issues that arise in business cases. The presentation also addressed choice of forum clauses for the Business Court, along with other “miscellaneous” clauses that often fly under the radar in drafting that can create significant problems in litigation.
