Allen Robertson Talks Nursing Home Visits During COVID-19
PDFAllen Robertson was quoted in a recent North Carolina Lawyers Weekly article about the gradual reopening of assisted living and skilled nursing homes to outside visitors as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Robertson counsels senior living communities, and he shed light on the facilities’ decision-making process and the challenges presented amid the pandemic.
“Senior living providers and skilled nursing homes have taken this as seriously as you can possibly take it,” Robertson said. “They have done everything in their power to react to this and deal with this but it’s tough to control the spread with employees coming in and out. You can lock down the facility and keep the residents there, but you can’t lock up your employees.”
