Robinson Bradshaw Pro Bono Efforts Honored by Mecklenburg Bar Association
PDFRobinson Bradshaw and its attorneys received two awards at the Mecklenburg Bar Association’s annual meeting in recognition of its demonstrated commitment to pro bono legal services.
Robinson Bradshaw received the 2025 Outstanding Firm Pro Bono Award from Legal Aid of North Carolina. The firm’s recent pro bono work spans appeals, litigation, real estate, employment, financings, estate planning, tax matters and more. Robinson Bradshaw attorneys also engage in post-conviction representation, Guardian ad Litem services and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status proceedings. Additionally, the firm is a co-founder of CLIMB, or Charlotte Legal Initiative to Mobilize Businesses, through which the firm’s attorneys provide legal support to low-income entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Charlotte area.
Caroline Wannamaker Sink received the Individual Pro Bono Attorney Award for 2025 from Safe Alliance in recognition of her commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Sink has been instrumental in handling real estate, loan and tax needs for Safe Alliance’s new Umbrella Center, Charlotte-Mecklenburg's family justice center that will house all service providers for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, human trafficking and elder abuse.
