Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Mark Hiller and Rich Worf presented “Navigating Bad Faith and UDTPA Claims” for the Emerging Issues in Insurance Law Practice program, hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association’s Insurance Law Section
The presentation explored key topics arising in the litigation of bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practice claims, with a particular focus on North Carolina law.
Other topics included the origin and elements of the claims, issues that commonly arise in discovery, key North Carolina case law related to the claims and the relationship of these claims to other commonly asserted claims in insurance litigation.
