The Trusted Advisor: Ethical Responsibilities of North Carolina In-House Counsel

Robinson Bradshaw attorney Robert Harrington will join Lowe's in-house counsel members Casey Kaplan and Jonathan Dunn for a panel presentation on the rules of professional conduct as they apply to in-house lawyers. In particular, the trio will highlight the ethical responsibilities that come with balancing business and professional responsibilities. Topics will include best practices for maintaining confidentiality when using technology; rules regarding supervisory responsibility in the legal department; conflicts of interests as they can arise for the in-house lawyer; and best practices for avoiding unintentional client relationships.
