Jeffrey Hart Named Inaugural Triangle Law Award Winner

Robinson Bradshaw attorney Jeffrey C. Hart is a 2026 winner of the Triangle Business Journal’s inaugural Triangle Law Awards. Hart, honored in the corporate and securities category, is one of only 20 attorneys selected for recognition from the wider Triangle area. Honorees were chosen for specific accomplishments in the past year; exemplary representation of, and influence within, the most important business sectors of the Triangle; and direct involvement in local community and nonprofit activities.

Hart’s practice focuses on private fund formation, private equity financings, and strategic and financial investments. He has extensive experience forming private funds, including venture capital, private equity, real estate, and fund-of-funds structures, and advises corporate venture capital programs, endowments, and other financial and strategic investors on a broad range of investment transactions.  Hart chairs Robinson Bradshaw’s Private Funds & Investments Practice Group and is a regular contributor to the firm’s Private Fund Insights blog.

Hart has held leadership roles in several community organizations, including the North Carolina Bar Association’s Business Law Section Council, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation, and the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Hart earned his law degree from Duke University and his bachelor’s degree cum laude with honors from Davidson College as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
