Steven Joseph earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He earned his master's degree in public policy from George Mason University and his bachelor's degree in history from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Prior to attending law school, Steven spent six years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. His military service included assignments as a contracting officer, a deployment to the Horn of Africa and an instructor at Officer Training School.

Before joining Robinson Bradshaw, Steven clerked for Judge Elizabeth Branch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and Judge Aileen M. Cannon for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
