All nonprofits are required to comply with a wide array of federal and state laws and regulations. In this workshop with Dianne Chipps Bailey, she provided answers to the most common legal questions that nonprofits ask (or should ask) attorneys. Bailey and two other experts reviewed the top persistent legal issues that affect nonprofits, including compliance with federal tax laws, basic corporate governance, charitable solicitation licensure, donor acknowledgment and more. Breakout sessions went into more depth on several topics.

This event was hosted by the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits.
