From sexual orientation and gender identity to the confusion around HB2, this presentation with The Employers Association covered a range of legal topics. Attorneys Charles Johnson and Susan Huber from Robinson Bradshaw walked attendees through the opportunities and issues surrounding LGBTQ people in the workplace. The presentation covered the definitions and protections on the state and local level, as well as the positions of the EEOC and the courts on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Attendees learned about best practices for welcoming and accommodating employees, and updates on HB2 and its effect on employment law issues. 

Attendees were eligible for HRCI credit. Breakfast was served prior to the session at 7:45 a.m.
