As employers throughout the country embrace DEI goals and develop DEI programs with energy and passion, it’s important not to lose sight of the continuing commands of federal and state anti-discrimination laws. In this CLE, Angie Vincent and Stephen Cox talked about ways to further DEI initiatives and manage employee affinity groups while minimizing potential liability. They also discussed the importance of maintaining appropriate legal oversight over DEI programs and of periodically reviewing those programs to manage and mitigate risk.
