Duke Law LEAD Professionalism Luncheon Keynote

Rob Harrington delivered the keynote address at Duke Law School's LEAD, or Lawyer Education and Development, Professionalism Luncheon. A graduate of Duke for both undergrad and law school, Harrington spoke about the law as a profession, including the importance of resilience, dedication, authenticity, community service, civility and wellbeing. 

“We are advocates. We fight for clients, and sometimes we fight for viewpoints. At our best, we do that with a healthy and heartening respect for and curiosity about the perspectives of others,” Harrington said in his remarks.
