Health Law & Ethics 2012

John B. Garver, III presented Compliance 101 - The Stark Truth at the Health Law & Ethics 2012 Conference on Saturday, December 8, 2012.  The event was held at the McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University in Raleigh and was sponsored by Wake Area Health Educational Center.

Attendees learned why the penalties under laws such as the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, the federal Stark Law and the North Carolina Physician Self-Referral Act make compliance self-audits important.
