Julian Wright participated as a panelist at an event sponsored by the UNC Charlotte College of Education and the Levine Museum of the New South. Attendees at "The Grandchildren of Brown" event learned from keynote speaker, Dr. Rucker Johnson, Associate Professor U Cal - Berkeley, about some of the long term educational impacts which are a result of the end of court ordered desegregation in public schools across America. The panel will follow discussing how we should consider charting our path for the future with upcoming discussions around pupil assignment. This will be an interactive talk with questions from the audience leading the discussion.  A pdf of the event program can be found below under Related Materials.
