Robinson Bradshaw attorney David Wright was quoted in a North Carolina Lawyers Weekly article regarding his recent success on behalf of XPO Logistics, Inc. A preliminary injunction in favor of plaintiff was granted by the North Carolina Business Court after the court found that promised payments of severance were not illusory and therefore provided the necessary consideration for the defendant’s agreement not to compete or disclose confidential information. Doug Jarrell and Brian Church assisted with the litigation.
