Robinson Bradshaw, one of the state’s leading corporate and commercial law firms, has added J. Adam Martin as an associate attorney in the firm’s Research Triangle office.

Prior to joining Robinson Bradshaw, Martin worked as a corporate associate with Dechert, LLP, in New York, where he represented private equity firms in a variety of portfolio restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. He clerked for Judge Graham C. Mullen in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and he also worked as a pro bono intern in the Duke University Office of Counsel.

Martin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his law degree from Duke University School of Law. He also has a master of music degree from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Martin is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and New York.
