Robinson Bradshaw Represents Artisanal Brewing Ventures in Bold Rock Cider Purchase

Robinson Bradshaw represented Artisanal Brewing Ventures in its agreement to acquire Bold Rock Hard Cider. The deal gives ABV the opportunity to expand its portfolio outside the beer industry with 80,000 barrels of cider and hard seltzer sales, according to an article by Brewbound. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2019.

ABV formed with the combination of Victory Brewing and Southern Tier Brewing in 2016. It was the 11th largest domestic craft brewery by volume last year. Bold Rock is one of the country's top cider brands, and it recently launched a line of ready-to-drink canned cocktails.

Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Scott Dove, Lucas Anderson, Herman Spence, Carl Boehm, Susan Huber and Lani Barnes Baxter represented ABV in the transaction.
