The North Carolina Bar Association’s Business Law Section named Robinson Bradshaw attorney Stephen M. Lynch the 2023 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award.

The award recognizes a member of the Business Law Section who exemplifies extraordinary service to the section, the legal profession or the public. The winner embodies the professional ideals of competence, service, integrity, independence and community. Lynch was recognized for his many years of contribution to the Section.

Lynch’s practice with Robinson Bradshaw covers a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on representing publicly traded issuers in a variety of securities transactions and compliance matters. He earned his law degree with high honors from Duke University, where he was a member of Order of the Coif and editor-in-chief of the Duke Law Journal. He received his undergraduate and master's degrees from Alfred University.
