South Carolina Lawyer Magazine Features Stephen Cox on the Mock Trial Program

Stephen Cox, managing partner of Robinson Bradshaw, was featured in South Carolina Lawyer’s Winter 2025-26 issue, reflecting on the legacy and lasting impact of the South Carolina Bar’s mock trial program.

The mock trial program provides lawyers across the state with meaningful opportunities to invest in the future of the profession by mentoring students and strengthening advocacy skills that serve them well beyond the classroom or courtroom. Many practicing attorneys and judges were once participants of the program and now give back by mentoring the next generation of lawyers and professionals.

Cox, who participated as a student and later coached, was among other mock trial alumni, coaches and judges reflecting on the program’s impact in the article.
