Alexis Iffert’s transactional practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, employment and labor issues, health care law, joint business ventures and general corporate law. She represents clients in many different industries and has experience negotiating and drafting a variety of contractual arrangements, including organizational documents, purchase agreements, service and operating agreements, employment agreements and related documentation.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexis received her Master of Education in student personnel in higher education from the University of Florida and worked in higher education for eight years. Her unique professional experience is a benefit to educational institutions facing complex problems and seeking specialized advice, particularly in the areas of Title IX compliance and policy development.
Represented SPX Corp. in the amendment and extension of its syndicated senior secured credit facilities consisting of a term loan facility, global and domestic revolving credit facilities, a participation foreign credit instrument facility and a bilateral foreign credit instrument facility.
Represents a national health care corporation in the negotiation and development of joint venture operations with other physician partners.
Represents a national health care corporation in its purchases of a wide range of business operations, including dialysis clinics, vascular access centers and physician practice management services.
Advises employers across various industries in developing and maintaining sound employment policies and practices.
Provides general counsel to educational institutions concerning a variety of matters, including those related to disciplinary issues, educational policies and procedures, and Title IX compliance.
