Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Stoke Caldwell and Matt Efird are co-planners for the 2018 The Racing Attorney Conference, an annual program for motorsports attorneys hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. Caldwell and Efird will also lead sessions throughout the two-day program, joined by Robinson Bradshaw attorney Cary Davis.

Caldwell will co-present "Start-Up: Forming and Operating a New Race Team," covering topics like regulatory compliance and state and local government incentives.

Davis will speak at "Talent Contracts: Parties, Conduct and Restrictions." This session answers questions about proper parties, risk allocation, enforceability of restrictive covenants, moral clauses and injunctive relief. 

Efird will moderate a panel titled "Anticipating Sponsor Issues: Key Contract Provisions, Payments, Bankruptcy, Etc." Panelists will discuss what happens with insolvency and bankruptcy, payment disputes, boilerplate provisions and due diligence.
