The NC Chamber interviewed Managing Partner Allen Robertson for an episode of its podcast, “Relaunching North Carolina: Perspectives from NC Business Leaders.” Robertson discussed how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the firm and the greater North Carolina business community, and he shared his thoughts on the roles that business leaders can play during these trying times.

“As leaders, we’ve got to be setting an example and encouraging all of our employees, and their families, to be responsible citizens who practice the three W’s,” Robertson said.

He also noted that this crisis will put companies’ cultures to the test, and emphasized how providing employees with opportunities for predictability, control and connection can help maintain morale.

“This crisis can be an opportunity for businesses and business leaders to actually shine and do things that will pay dividends,” Robertson said.
