Overview

Jon LeCompte practices primarily in the areas of real estate development and finance, focusing on all aspects of commercial real estate. He regularly advises clients in the development, acquisition, leasing, disposition and financing of commercial real estate, with particular emphasis on office and health care properties.

Jon began his legal career at Robinson Bradshaw before leaving the firm to serve four years as director and assistant general counsel at a nonprofit hospital system based in the Carolinas. Jon was responsible for all real estate transactions related to the system’s inpatient medical centers, outpatient clinic locations and corporate offices in the Carolinas, including health care-related regulatory issues. Through this role, Jon gained an acute understanding of the goals and challenges that companies face in their real estate transactions – a unique perspective he now brings to bear for his clients’ benefit after returning to Robinson Bradshaw.
