Corporate Associate: Private Credit & Mezzanine Finance
Robinson Bradshaw is seeking an experienced transactional lawyer for its Mezzanine Finance practice in its Charlotte office. Robinson Bradshaw represents private funds, business development companies, small business investment companies, and other lenders and investors, as well as portfolio companies and borrowers, across a full spectrum of private credit transactions – including senior, unitranche and mezzanine finance transactions – as well as equity co-investments. Preferred candidates would have two to five years of transactional experience, with significant leveraged finance experience. All candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding academic credentials and the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
Corporate Associate: Venture Capital
Robinson Bradshaw is looking for a corporate associate with two to five years of corporate experience, particularly with representing emerging growth technology companies. The candidate will have the opportunity to advise clients through all stages of their life-cycle from incorporation to exit and serving as “outside general counsel.” The candidate will be on the front lines with clients, including day-to-day counseling through direct interactions with management, negotiating and advising both companies and investors with respect to venture capital financings, and negotiating strategic transactions and acquisitions. Technical degree not required but candidate must have an interest in and some exposure to the technology arena. All candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding academic credentials and the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
Corporate Associate: Fund Formation
Robinson Bradshaw is looking for a corporate associate with four to eight years of corporate experience (although will also consider candidates with more or less experience), particularly in the formation of, and investment by institutional investors in, private funds (PE, VC, RE primarily). Additional experiences helpful: investment advisers act and investment company act regulation; private REITs; OFAC and trade sanctions regulation. Opportunity to continue or expand experience with other corporate transactions, particularly M&A and venture and PE investment, available. All candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding academic credentials and the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
