Robinson Bradshaw attorneys Allen K. Robertson and Robert E. Harrington were included on Business North Carolina’s 2022 Power List, which recognizes the state’s most influential leaders.
Robertson is managing partner of Robinson Bradshaw. He has led the firm since 2015 and was re-elected in September 2020 to serve a second five-year term. Robertson is a public finance lawyer of regional and national distinction, and is one of only two North Carolina lawyers to have served as president of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He is a member of the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity, and he is on the board of directors for Historic Elmwood Pinewood, Inc.
Harrington co-chairs Robinson Bradshaw’s Litigation Department. He represents corporate clients in complex contract, trade practice and business disputes. Harrington recently chaired the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s board of trustees, and he is co-chair of the library foundation’s CommonSpark campaign for the new main library campus. Among many other community leadership roles, Harrington also previously chaired the Arts & Science Council’s board of directors and was president of the Mecklenburg County Bar.
When asked by the publication what motivates him, Harrington said, “The opportunity to partner with clients to solve complicated legal challenges and the chance to improve our community.”
