Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to welcome 16 attorneys to the firm, including 12 new associates. This talented group will add to the firm’s capabilities in many areas, including litigation, appeals, intellectual property and real estate.

Aneesha Sehgal Bruton counsels clients on a broad range of technology transactions and complex commercial contracts matters. Her experience includes software, data, patent and trademark licensing; software- and platform-as-a-service agreements; e-commerce; and joint intellectual property development and joint venture agreements. She also assists clients in enterprise and optimization transactions, and she advises clients on the intellectual property aspects of merger, acquisition, asset sale and financing transactions.

Before joining Robinson Bradshaw, Aneesha Bruton was an attorney at King & Spalding LLP in Washington, D.C. She received her law degree cum laude from Georgetown University and her bachelor’s degree from Duke University.

H. Hunter Bruton guides clients through complex litigation and appeals. He focuses his litigation practice on legal strategy, critical motions and appellate advocacy. He has experience in federal and state cases involving constitutional law, administrative law, class action, mass tort, trade secret misappropriation and other complex commercial litigation.

Hunter Bruton served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, and he was a Bristow Fellow in the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of the Solicitor General. Before joining Robinson Bradshaw, he was an attorney at Jones Day in Washington, D.C. He graduated summa cum laude from Duke University School of Law as valedictorian and a Mordecai Scholar, and received his bachelor’s degree with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.

Edward D. Faison represents clients in the development, acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate projects. He has broad experience representing institutional lenders in a variety of single-property and portfolio loan originations, loan modifications and construction loans. Faison also has experience representing landlords and tenants in commercial, retail and office leasing transactions.

Prior to joining Robinson Bradshaw, Faison was an attorney at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. He holds a law degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University.

Caroline H. Reinwald returned to Robinson Bradshaw after a clerkship with Judge James Andrew Wynn of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She represents clients in all phases of civil litigation, from factual development to appeals. Her experience covers a wide range of practice areas, including breach of contract, unfair and deceptive trade practices, class actions and other general business litigation matters.

Reinwald received her law degree with highest honors and as valedictorian from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the University of Alabama.

Aryana Ainolhayat earned her law degree summa cum laude and as valedictorian from the Campbell University School of Law where she was submissions editor of the Campbell Law Review. Ainolhayat received her bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in Hispanic studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before joining Robinson Bradshaw, she clerked for Judge Catherine C. Eagles of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.

Elisabeth L. Baldwin earned her law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law where she was symposium editor of the North Carolina Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. She holds a master's degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's degree summa cum laude in history and childhood education from Canisius College. Before law school, Baldwin spent more than a decade in North Carolina and Texas schools, both in the classroom and in administration.

Caitlan Carberry earned her law degree magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law where she was senior notes editor of the Duke Law Journal. Carberry received a master’s degree with honors in education from Fordham University and a bachelor's degree summa cum laude in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Before joining Robinson Bradshaw, she clerked for Judge Louise W. Flanagan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Carberry’s early career experience includes teaching middle-school English in the Bronx, New York, through Teach For America.

Andrew G. Hamill earned his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he was a Frederic G. Levin Ethos of Excellence Scholar and a managing editor of the Florida Law Review. Hamill received his bachelor's degree cum laude in exercise and sports science with a minor in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Gregg Hill earned his law degree from the Howard University School of Law as a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He received his bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Maryland where he was treasurer of the school’s National Society of Collegiate Scholars chapter. Hill formerly served as a public relations intern for the Washington Football Team.

Zachary A. Johnson earned his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude in legal studies with a minor in English from the University of West Florida. Prior to joining Robinson Bradshaw, Johnson clerked for Judge Robert J. Conrad Jr. of the U.S. District Court for Western District of North Carolina, and for Judge Peter J. Phipps of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Clara Nieman earned her law degree magna cum laude from the Duke University School of Law as a Mordecai Scholar. She was also Year-in-Review editor of the Alaska Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Nieman earned her Master of Music in vocal performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music and her Bachelor of Music in voice, with high distinction, from Indiana University. Prior to law school, she performed as a classical mezzo-soprano with opera companies and orchestras throughout the United States.

Elizabeth G. Poole earned her law degree with highest honors and as valedictorian from the University of North Carolina School of Law where she was comments editor of the North Carolina Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. Poole received her bachelor's degree with highest distinction in public relations with a minor in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Caleb V. Strawn earned his law degree magna cum laude from the Duke University School of Law where he was senior research editor of the Law & Contemporary Problems journal and a student attorney with the school's Community Enterprise Clinic. While in law school, Strawn simultaneously earned a master's degree in theological studies summa cum laude from Duke Divinity School. He received his bachelor's degree magna cum laude in economics from Samford University as a University Fellow.

James Ennis Street earned his law degree cum laude from the Duke University School of Law. He served as executive editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law and as content editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review. Street received his bachelor's degree with honors in public policy and interdisciplinary studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to law school, he served as a legal fellow and paralegal for Muslim Advocates, a national civil rights organization in Washington, D.C.

Leighton E. Whitehead earned his law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he was comments editor of the North Carolina Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. Whitehead received his bachelor's degree with highest distinction in economics and philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Michael S. Wilson earned his law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he was articles editor of the North Carolina Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. Wilson received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to law school, Wilson worked in investment banking and public policy, working first at Wells Fargo Securities and then for the North Carolina General Assembly.
